This rear main crankshaft seal fits 2.8L engines found in 85-86 Jeep Cherokee XJ, 85-86 Jeep Grand Wagoneer SJ, and 1986 Jeep Comanche MJ.
The seal on a rear main crankshaft helps keep dust and dirt out of your engine and helps hold the oil inside the oil pan. Over time these can crack or break with wear. Replace it with these new seals from Omix-ADA to keep in what you need and keep out what you don't.
